Look at my shiny new cake stand! Sure, it's gaudy cheap faux-vintage, but somehow I love it...
I did buy it to be a jewellery display, but as I am sadly sans future craft markets for now, today I'm going to fill it up with some of Nath's plum cake. If anyone in the East Anglia area knows of any upcoming craft markets I could muscle in on, please get in touch!

I love it, its really quaint. I'm still on the look out for one of these bad boys.
It is beautiful..it looks so delicate and pretty
A HAND-HELD BLENDER?! blasphemy! impudence!
ahem, i expect it did taste nice? or did you have to scrape it straight into the bin after you has realised your transgression?
Hahaha it would have been just fine, had I not started cutting my fringe while it cooked and left it 5 mins too long. After a black-bit scraping session it's all good, though! Perhaps that was my punishment.
Oh god plum cake sounds so good. I'm having a cake session next Friday maybe I should have a plum cake session.
