A very successful impromptu charity shop session today. I couldn't resist this coin purse, which brought memories of school dinners and cutting Barbie's hair off rushing back. Did anyone else have these when they were a kid?
A great 80's dress from Liberty complete with shoulder pads
And also, this tiny child's umbrella which I had to grab as the moment I stepped outside the house the previously sunny skies clouded over and the thunder began to rumble. It's so small it just covered my shoulders, which garnered a few funny looks as me and my shopping ran home!

I'm pretty sure I used to buy one of those purses every week or so! So cute.
ha! Iris has a couple of those little purses, they're classic! will you be sporting the shoulder pads with the aforementioned Liberty dress?
i had that exact coin purse as a kid.
Looks like EVERYONE had one or two! How reassuring.
Nath - I'm undecided as to the shoulder pads. They're pretty big and I already have fairly square shoulders...On the other hand they are AWESOME
I had a little white purse like that. thanks for the memory, I totally forgot about it :]
i definitely had more than one of those exact purses.loved them so much!
I found a bigger version of one a few months ago at the oriental plaza, an all red one.. so pretty.
Angie - awesome! I would love one big enough to actually put useful things in and use it as a bag!

Howard - yes! All the colours.
Belle - not sure, try ebay? Or old fashioned toy shops? I found this one in a charity shop.
I had severals, in south of France, when I was a little gil thirty five years ago. It was a dream, a real pleasure, to get one new during each annual party in the village...
