The shoelaces snapped on my boots, so I took the opportunity to do a little project that I'd had planned for a while. There they are up the top with the new black laces in, and I like the brown and black so much that I decided to make more of a feature of it. I cut them down a bit, more to ankle length (leaving the tongues long) and stitched faux-leather tape around the raw edge.
I would say it's like having a new pair of boots, but looking at these photos I notice just what a worn-in state they are in! Like having new second-hand boots, then...
