Die Mondkarte


A favourite Christmas present this year, from my sister. Such a beautiful print! I wish I knew more about it, when it was originally drawn and such.

Thanks guys! Eva-mona, it's a print of an (not totally sure about the date but I would guess) eighteenth century scholarly map of the moon, with all its craters marked and emphasized in a rather charming way.

It is a Lunar Map of 1854. I tried the photo recognition section of Google. This is in the public domain so many of the poster and print companies are using the image. It is very nice and I always like prints such as this.
