Best find

I wanted to share with you a favourite piece - I found this fantastic vintage leather wallet in a charity shop in Buxton. It has so many compartments! Including one for £1 notes, which dates it rather. And the best bit of all - a tiny removable pouch for stamps which slots in the bottom corner. Genius!

I've jazzed it up with gold studs and gold leather, and it is available here...
(I was sorely tempted to keep it myself, but I just got a new purse recently!)

Wow! Such a great wallet! I love all the little pockets and things. And the stamp pocket! You have to write lots of letters now! :-)

Eva-mona, thank you, isn't it just?

That was from the days when the Driving Licence was a lttle maroon book (that would fit in the pouch) I suppose a photocard driving licence would fit in the same place.

Lovely!
Is is just me, or is anyone else shocked senseless by the price of a first class stamp?
I nearly fainted clean away in the post office yesterday!

Queen Marie, you are absolutely right, it's unbelievable! It caused great consternation in our office when they announced the increase. There was nearly a riot!
