Woolly Colour Combination Of The Week

This may or may not become a series, I do have a lot of jumpers... (sweaters, to our American friends. That's one language thingie that I find perpetually confusing! Two nations divided, at least in the clothes-shopping stakes, by a common language.)

ooh lovely.

funny, when i first moved to the US from england i was so thrown off by the different clothing names.

when people would comment on my "pants" when i first moved here, i would freak out and get scared my underwear was showing.

in 1995, the most popular types of "sweatshirts/jumpers" in the US were by the brand BUM. I thought, wow, american's are so crass. all of their sweatshirts say bum on them! and then i learned that bum doesn't mean butt in the US.

so many simple words so muddled up!

I love these, so pretty! Hehe I know what you mean- I don't really understand why they would call it sweat-ers?!
