bookface

I found these old Reader's Digest books in a charity shop the other day, priced at 20p each, and of course just couldn't resist. I don't think it would be too controversial to say that from a literary point of view they are, ahem, no great shakes but I love the covers and they are rather nicely typeset inside. I was abstractly planning on ripping them up to do something nice, but haven't decided what. Any ideas?

How about this Curlby project to make a bag out of a book: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m4RFH0q0Osk ? Perfect for a book where you like the cover more than the content! I am planning on trying this out over the next couple of days.

Or you could always hollow out the inside of the books and have one of those secret hiding places like you always see on films. That way you'd be able to keep some of the typography too...

Frances, that looks great. I was thinking about trying one of these but wasn't sure how to go about it. Thanks!
