nostalgia trip

I've been searching for socks like these for years, and nearly wet myself when I saw these puppies in a pound shop in Ely (you can find some gems in these places, I swear!). I might even sew ruffles round the top for that real authentic school days look. Now all I need is a gingham dress and a Thomas the Tank Engine lunch box and I'll look exactly like I did in 1993 (and a fair amount cheaper than Topshop!)

The topshop ones are very pretty. Maybe I should set up some kind of supply chain? From the £ound shop to your door...

If they get holey - look to ASOS! ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad

Good point Claire. I'm dubious about the quality. Still going to stitch nametags in each one though, and then get a pen and dot my feet through all the holes. Just like old times!
