Hurray!

The lovely Lisa at Paper Bullet has been very sweet and included my one-off leather cuff with a vintage train station button in her treasury. It's a really nice collection, richly textured and with a lot of interesting linear elements. Have a peek!

a sneak preview

This week I have been working on a new mini-collection which I'm very excited about - it's all about ruffles, wearable ruffles, and very girly. Each piece is unique and I can't be making any more because I'm all out of the beautiful vintage lining fabric, which the photos just don't do justice to. They're very limited, so hurry on over to the shop before the weekend to grab yours.

Beach!

I've had such a lovely day! It was gorgeous weather and we went to the beach, ate chips and icecream, took some photos for etsy stuff and generally had a nice time. I love these beach huts, I used to come here with my family when I was little and they were sort of a motif for childhood holidays.

There's something so endearingly crap about the british seaside which today really reminded me of. How was your weekend?

Marie's necklace

I thought I'd share with you the pics of this necklace that I've made for the lovely Queen Marie over at Kingdom of Style. It's made of loops of nude-coloured faux-leather (veggie friendly, hurray!) which form this wicked sort of ruff when you put it on. She emailed me a picture asking if I could emulate it, and this was the result. I might put one in the shop this week if I get round to it...

What do you think? xx

My New Favourite

Scratch the jars, I've bought something better! While rummaging around at a car boot sale this morning, I picked up this fantastic camera. It's a Coronet 4-4 mark 2, or something, but more importantly really pretty! And it has an awesome rubber case that imitates the brown leather cases that these sorts of things used to come in. It's in pretty good nick and the shutter still works and everything, so I'm pretty chuffed!

Does anyone know what film these things take? It looks about the right size for 35mm but I'm no expert on these things. Any help welcome!

PS. In the background there you can see a sneak preview of the new range of leather animal silhouettes in vintage frames, which will be coming available in the shop this week!
