Dear weather gods, if perhaps you could just mix the sun and the rain up a little, that would be great. Then I wouldn't have to worry about drought, or the fact that my shoes haven't been dry for a week.

The Beauty is in the Street

This was one of my favourite birthday presents this year - an absolutely beautiful book packed with vibrant reproductions of the work of the Atelier Populaire, Paris. 1968. It also has photographs taken at the time of the students' work process, and a rather typographically lush timeline-type thing in the middle. Nice!

An old, gold vintage tin and the delicious crinkly surface of leather.

There really aren't many things that are better than real hand-kitted socks now, are there? And these come in such great colours. From Alessandra's lovely shop, knots.
