I found this fabric at a flea market a few weeks ago and have been turning it into a few scarves. I wanted to try a new design - something that could fill that cold little gap at the front but not be too bulky at the back of the neck, under the coat collar. I think it works well, it's a big pleat that fastens with poppers at the back (last 2 pics). Will be in the shop soon.

Hilary Grant has the nicest wool stuff (& one of the nicest websites) that I've come across lately. I may or may not have just bought one of the circle scarves, I'm not sure, I think I blacked out in I-can't-really-afford-this excitement...

A messy corner of one's own.

Some pictures of my 'worky corner'. So pleased to have sewing machine back! Good old friend sewing machine. Let's go on sewingy adventures again...
