Just a quick note to say that I'm planning a bit of a shop re-design, and am keen to clear out some dear old items that have been around for a while. So this week all these things are just $5! Be a love and give them a good home here.
One rather lovely feature of the house are all the little tiley details, which give a rather charming hint at all the time and wear that's passsed in the building. The middle section is from Sarah's fireplace, which is magnificent!
In a rather extravagant move, having decided that I needed a digital radio, I sort of accidentally bought the most lavish one available... and it's great! I've had my eye on them for a few years after all. Being a Roberts it should last a good while, and the sound is great. The only tricky bit was deciding which colour to go for, which Amazon solved for me by having the duck-egg blue the cheapest for some reason. Can't wait to take this bad boy on picnics!
My parents came to visit at the weekend, bringing with them a most impressive array of garden-y edible things (immediately after this photo was taken, a crumble went down). They also brought me all the crap I'd stored at their house for a few months, so pictures to follow of my sorted-out desk and workingy area. Here's a sneak peek...

This star is cut into the pavement on a street just around the corner. No idea why or how long it's been there - it's a mystery. I love it's slightly odd proportions.
Just came across the lovely things at notTuesday, based in Australia, via a treasury. Love the colours and shapes and photography, very pleasing. Find them here.
Leather triangles all lined up in anticipation of becoming necklaces. Lucky triangles, how exciting! It's important to have goals, they say. Hope you're all having nice weeks so far.
I can't believe how quickly the last year has gone and how much has changed. Where were you a year ago? I was here. It looks pretty similar, but don't be fooled!
PS. My laptop and the internet are having a falling out, so posts might be a little bit crap for a while. Clock necklace in the shop.
You may be a bit over antlers, and I know that these are essentially useless, but I just can't stop looking at these painted antlers by MadebyCassandraSmith. I've been going back and poring over them for a couple of months now. The colours are just so perfect! I'd love a set in my room for coat hooks, if they could be fixed easily somehow.
